Terms of Sale.
These Terms of Sale govern every purchase of Vantrel OS LTS through the VANTREL store. They do not stand alone: the Vantrel Closed Source Sales Terms and Software License — published on this legal subdomain — is incorporated into them by reference, and the license terms as of the date of purchase are binding.

01 // The purchase
What you are buying.
Vantrel OS LTS
USD $544 one-time, permanent, plus disclosed applicable taxes. Includes Vantrel OS LTS closed-source early access and the first month of the Support Package. Software access for personal and internal commercial activities within the scope of your Order Schedule, plus the agreed mascot and branding work.
Support package
The first month is included in the $544 initial payment. Beginning in the second month, the Support Package costs USD $5 per month, charged at the start of each month. The $544 is a one-time permanent payment — never charged again — that permanently secures your early access license and gives you access to the $5 monthly Support Package, which continues until you cancel; cancellation never revokes the paid license.
What it is not
Not a donation. Not an investment. Not equity. This purchase buys only the listed license, goods, and services — no shares, dividends, or board seat — see Section 19 of the Vantrel Closed Source Sales Terms and Software License.
Before payment
Applicable taxes, billing entity, payment method, and total charge are disclosed before payment. No additional fee or increase without the notice and consent required by applicable law.

The license is part of this sale.
By completing purchase, you agree to the Vantrel Closed Source Sales Terms and Software License, incorporated by reference at https://legal.vantrelos.net/license. The license terms as of the date of purchase are binding.
Named, linked, and binding. These Terms of Sale refer to the license by its exact name — the Vantrel Closed Source Sales Terms and Software License — never as "these terms" or "the license" alone. The full URL is provided. The version published at that URL on your date of purchase is the version that binds your order.
03 // Required acceptance at checkout — electronic proof
No ID. No tick. No sale.
Every order requires affirmative, attributed acceptance of the Vantrel Closed Source Sales Terms and Software License before purchase can complete, per Section 2 of the license: affirmatively selecting an unchecked agreement box next to a conspicuous link to the agreement, then submitting the Order. You type your full legal name as an electronic signature, then tick the checkbox yourself. The checkbox is rendered unchecked, is never pre-checked or auto-ticked, and your activation is machine-verified as genuine user input — scripted or synthetic clicks are rejected. Merely visiting a website does not constitute acceptance. Purchase cannot complete without it.
By typing my full legal name above and ticking the checkbox below, I electronically sign and agree. I understand my acceptance is recorded as proof: my typed name, account ID, email, the UTC date and time, the click or keypress that ticked the box, my browser environment, and the exact license version and cryptographic fingerprint I agreed to. A certificate ID is issued for the record.

Store checkout integration. This same block is embedded in the store checkout flow, where the account ID is injected server-side from your authenticated session and the order reference is your live order. The purchase button stays disabled until the checkbox is ticked. Attempting to fire the checkbox programmatically (scripted click, automation, dispatchEvent) is detected and rejected — only a genuine user click or keypress creates an acceptance record.

Every acceptance is recorded.
User ID. UTC timestamp. License version. SHA-256 fingerprint of the license text.
04 // Acceptance records — electronic proof
The click is the proof.
When you type your name and tick the checkbox, an acceptance evidence record is created that electronically proves this specific person agreed to this specific license version at this specific moment. It is retained by the Seller, together with the completed terms version, the order, the separate subscription consent if any, and a confirmation sent to you.
Typed signature
Your full legal name, typed as an electronic signature at the moment of acceptance — bound to the record.
User ID
Your authenticated VANTREL account ID — resolved server-side at checkout, never typed by hand in the live flow. Plus a persistent acceptance session ID correlating your visits.
The click itself
The exact activation that ticked the box — pointer or keyboard, pointer coordinates, millisecond timing — captured only if it is a trusted user input event. Synthetic clicks, scripted automation, and dispatched events are detected and rejected outright.
Timestamps
UTC, ISO 8601: page load, time-on-page before the tick, and the tick itself. Server adds its own authoritative timestamp and your IP address.
License version
1.0 — pinned at purchase, immune to later edits of the published page.
License hash
SHA-256 fingerprint of the license text as published at https://legal.vantrelos.net/license on the date of purchase.
Consent state
The record certifies the checkbox was rendered unchecked and ticked by the user — no pre-checked box, no automatic acceptance. Unticking posts a withdrawal record; acceptance never silently vanishes.
Certificate ID
A unique evidence certificate ID (VLT-ACC-…) derived from the record's SHA-256 fingerprint, issued to you on screen and by email. Hash-chained to all prior acceptance records so records cannot be altered retroactively.

The authoritative record is written server-side when the order is placed: the server adds your IP address, its own timestamp, and a cryptographic signature over the record. The front-end capture — typed name, verified click, environment — is the electronic manifestation of your agreement; the server stamp attributes it beyond dispute. Retain your certificate ID.
05 // Cancellation and refunds
Cancel support. Keep the license.
Cancel anytime
Through the same account used to subscribe or the website's designated support or cancellation channel. Cancellation received before the next scheduled charge prevents that charge; no unreasonable advance notice period applies. Vantrel confirms cancellation; it takes effect at the end of the paid period.
14-day refund
You may cancel a standard digital software purchase within fourteen calendar days after delivery for a refund of its license fee. You must stop using and delete the refunded proprietary copies and keys, subject to legally required retention.
After 14 days
A change of mind does not create an additional contractual refund right. Statutory rights and remedies for misrepresentation, nondelivery, material defects, and unfulfilled express commitments remain available.
Nonconforming delivery
Notify Vantrel with reasonably available details — correction or replacement is attempted within a reasonable period not exceeding thirty days; if correction fails or is impossible, the appropriate refund or other legally available remedy. No troubleshooting condition overrides an immediate statutory remedy.
Refund method
Refunds go to the original payment method within ten business days after approval or sooner where required.
License survives
Canceling the Support Package does not revoke your paid license to the delivered software. Protected reviews, lawful complaints, and cancellation of support are not grounds to revoke a paid perpetual license.
06 // No equity
A purchase is not a share issuance.
This purchase, and your acceptance of the Vantrel Closed Source Sales Terms and Software License, buys only the listed license, goods, and services — see Section 19. It does not purchase shares, equity, debt, profit participation, dividends, ownership, a legal board seat, fiduciary rights, or a guaranteed return. Descriptions such as supporter, founder, council, or community board confer only the community privileges expressly listed in your Order.
Any securities transaction, employment relationship, partnership, or corporate governance appointment requires its own legally compliant documentation. Community access may be moderated under rules disclosed before purchase; a loss of community privileges does not automatically terminate a separate paid software license or erase paid service obligations.
07 // Entire agreement
The whole deal, named in full.
This Agreement consists of: (1) these Terms of Sale; (2) the Vantrel Closed Source Sales Terms and Software License, incorporated by reference at https://legal.vantrelos.net/license; (3) the accepted Order; and (4) any signed amendments expressly accepted by both parties. The Vantrel Closed Source Sales Terms and Software License as published at https://legal.vantrelos.net/license on the date of purchase is binding and forms part of this entire agreement. No other terms, statements, chats, or representations form part of the agreement.
Later edits do not rewrite your deal. Seller cannot retroactively reduce purchased license rights or change separately issued equity through an update to these terms. Material changes require affirmative agreement where applicable law requires it; proposed subscription changes carry at least 30 days' notice and an opportunity to cancel.
Governing law: Washington State law and applicable United States federal law, with jurisdiction in Pierce County, Washington and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington — small claims remain available in any legally competent small claims court, and this agreement contains no mandatory arbitration, class action waiver, or contractual jury trial waiver. Before filing an ordinary civil claim, the parties exchange a written dispute description and allow thirty days for good faith discussion; this step does not block small claims, urgent protective relief, regulatory complaints, or deadline-preserving filings.

Retain your certificate ID and the copy provided with your order confirmation — formal notices go through the legal notice or support contact designated on the website at the time of submission (license Section 27).
